False "Wireless cannot be enabled" message in Samsung Tools

Post by S-trace »

Hello, dear voRia.
Thank You for great app You created for all Samsung owners which loves Linux!

I'm have one trouble: false message, saying that "Wireless cannot be enabled" when I'm trying to enable wireless on mine Samsung RV508, but wireless really gets enabled after some time:

Code: Select all

^_^ LANG= LANGUAGE= samsung-tools -W status
Wireless is enabled

Ср. нояб. 27 21:19:49-starrk@starrk-notebook:~
^_^ LANG= LANGUAGE= samsung-tools -W off
Wireless disabled

Ср. нояб. 27 21:19:51-starrk@starrk-notebook:~
^_^ LANG= LANGUAGE= samsung-tools -W status
Wireless is disabled

Ср. нояб. 27 21:19:53-starrk@starrk-notebook:~
^_^ LANG= LANGUAGE= samsung-tools -W on
Wireless cannot be enabled

Ср. нояб. 27 21:19:57-starrk@starrk-notebook:~
^_^ LANG= LANGUAGE= samsung-tools -W status
Wireless is disabled

Ср. нояб. 27 21:20:00-starrk@starrk-notebook:~
^_^ LANG= LANGUAGE= samsung-tools -W status
Wireless is enabled
And sometimes there is /usr/share/samsung-tools/devices-status/wireless file still present after such wireless enables, and so after suspend wireless goes OFF, regardless it was ON before suspend, which is annoying. There is same error if I'm trying to enable wireless using FN+F9 hotkey.

It's Samsung Tools 2.3 from Your PPA running on Kubuntu 13.10 AMD64.

Can You fix it?
Thank You.
