Hi,
I have an Samsung Series 7 Chronos (700Z3A-S02DE). Under Windows I can open the lid and the laptop will boot if it was in sleep (e.g., I closed the lid recently). Under Ubuntu (up to 14.10 and Ubuntu's mainline kernel) this will not work. The laptop stays off until I press the power button.
I already have opened a bug at Ubuntu which lead to an upstream mail at the ACPI mailing list but did not get any attention (see at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... ug/1293134).
Does anyone know anything I can do further?
