Hello,
Anyone aware of Micromiser of Miserware?
www.miserware.com

[...] MicroMiser automatically manages the power consumption of the individual hardware components (e.g. CPU) to ensure unchanged performance while lengthening battery life, reducing energy use and decreasing heat production. In addition to saving energy, MicroMiser captures and reports energy savings information directly to the user.

I will register and test. It's free for individual use.

Apparently it assumes 90w of power consumption.
It is possible to scale the results using a personalized value.

Does anyone know the power consumption of a NC10 in full state (CPU, screen 100%...)?

I have installed powertop.
-> proposes to activate a function "power on demand"
-> proposes to activate or deactivate few other functions - devices depending on usage

I have looked at miserware log
-> power varies between 45.5 tp 47.2 W

So is miserware useless taking into account : ?
-> that it's potential range of energy saving throught CPU scaling is really low when using ATOM.
-> that "power on demand" does the job.
-> that powertop provides much more options potentially providing much more power saving.
