Everything running on N130

Hi @all,

in my introduction I wrote that I wasn't going to install voRia's kernel right now - but my curiosity won

Now, even the "welcome freeze" is gone - and my netbook works perfectly.

Thanks a lot, voRia!

Same here...

until yesterday i ran archlinux on my n130.

It was very easy to get rid of the freezes and setting up the fn-keys by installing a speciel Kernel from AUR: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=32042

Then i tryed a live system of lucid lynx. The system was fast and beautiful. I installed it to my HDD and realized these anoying freezes.

With vorias PPA everything works fine! The Samsung-tools are great and setting up the system couldnt be easier (Compilation of AUR-Kernel lasts abot an hour and setting up the rest was horrible)

There is just one thing. From time to time i get an error-message. It says: You have a serious kernel-problem. But the system continues working :D

I hope this will be fixed until ubuntu 10.04 is final.

P.S Thanks voria ;D

Hi svlad cjelli,

do you have the current kernel? The "serious kernel problem" message on my netbook had already disappeared after the installation of the Ubuntu-kernel 2.6.32-21 from the official repositories... before installing the one by voRia.

Greets and good luck
Uli
