NB30 "Ubuntu is running in low graphics mode"
Posted: 21 Sep 2010, 20:07
So i have a samsung NB30 running Ubuntu desktop 10.04. I have all the samsung packages loaded and everything works great, brightness, volume, fan speed, monitor switch, ect...
My only problem is that sometimes when im using my computer (there is no one thing i can do to trigger it) my desktop will crash and ubuntu brings up a box that says "Ubuntu is running in low graphics mode, you may need to configure your video settings manually" or something like that. It gives me options to configure, continue running in low graphics mode, start in safe mode, and something else. But that dosnt matter because none of them do anything. I have to shut down the machine with the power button and restart.
What the hell is going on? anyone please?
Next time it happens i will take a screen shot and post it.
