I running a Wubi install of 10.10 on a N150 equipped with a RTL8192E (by lshw). I added the ppa and have installed:
easy-slow-down-manager libgudev-1.0-0 libudev0 linux-headers-2.6.35-22 linux-headers-2.6.35-22-generic linux-image-2.6.35-22-generic linux-libc-dev samsung-backlight samsung-tools samsung-wireless samsung-wireless-2.6.35-22 udev
I've found that I'm only able to connect if I disabled the wireless before rebooting. Upon login, I enable the wireless and it connects successfully. Otherwise, when I try to connect, it repeatedly asks for my WPA2 password. Occasionally, the wireless doesn't show a list of available networks.
I see there are a lot of links about this card online; a link to the right solution would be appreciated, or details of further diagnostic steps.
Faithfully, Peter
