NB30 Wireless Problem

Hi All
I am a Linux newbie and have decided to 'take the plunge' by installing Ubuntu Netbook Remix 10.04 on my Samsung NB30.
So far my experience has been good (I love the speed and simplicity) and I have been able to get most things working using the packages provided via the voria repository however I am having some issues with the wireless and I would hate for this to prematurely end my Linux experience ...
The problem I am experiencing is that my wireless connection keeps dropping every couple of mins (even though it says it is connected), if I manually disconnect the wireless and reconnect then things work again but within mins the connection will break. Note, I do not have this issue with any other machines on my network and do not have the issue with the NB30 running xp
I have seen this forum that talks about this issue https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/617533 however when I type "lspci -v" I get the following info that doesn't look right as I expect to see r8192e_pci module ....
Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Device 8192 (rev 01)
Subsystem: Askey Computer Corp. Device 7160
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 16
I/O ports at 2000
Memory at f0100000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable)
Capabilities: <access denied>
Kernel driver in use: rtl819xE
Kernel modules: r8192_pci
I hope I am making sense, if anybody can help I would be really grateful
Many Thanks
Simon
