high power consumption with linux on N145

Hi,
yesterday I have received a Samsung N145-Plus JP01 and directly installed linux (lubuntu 11.04, 64bit) on it. With voRia's repository, everything works quite well, however I notice that the power consumption is unusually high: An idle system with backlight at about 1/2 of the maximum takes 18Watts, with some aggressive power saving settings I can drop this to 14-16. However, various testing websites report idle power consumption of far below 10Watts. Do you experience the same behaviour? What could I do to reduce the power consumption?
Unfortunatelly I completely wiped out the pre-installed windows 7 so I can't test the power consumption under windows anymore. :-)
