Should Mint 10 be ok for R530 laptop??

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask if it should be ok to put Mint 10 on my fairly new R530, the basic spec is as follows:-

Core i3 330M cpu @ 2.13ghz
Chipset: Intel HM55
Intel hd graphics (integrated)
3gb ram
320 gb hd
wifi
integrated webcam

If people are using Mint or Ubuntu with success on this machine, please could someone tell me which Linux 'Samsung Tools' package I should be looking at. Any help much appreciated, thank you.
