Linux On My Samsung

Hello!

I have a Samsung NF310 and the latest version of Ubuntu running, i.e. Ubuntu 11.10 (oneiric). Since I encountered the all-too common backlight problems, I tried to install samsung-tools and samsung-backlight etc., but it doesn't work. It tells me that it cannot find the packages. I did add the voria repository...

Can anybody help me? Or is all this not (yet) working for oneiric? I would really appreciate!

(Oh, and just for the record, I am rather new to linux...:-))

since you are rather new to our world:
Did you update the sources after adding the PPA?
After this, you should be able to find the packages.

Indeed I did not do that (although I could have knwon...) Now it's working and my problems are solved, at least for the moment. Thank you very much!
