Problem after resuming : Kernel 2.6.32-25 regression ?

Post by Samsing »

Hi all,

My configuration :
  • Samsung N150 / 1GB RAM
  • Ubuntu Linux Lucid NE
  • Voria PPA up to date
  • Samsung Tools from PPA
Now I have updated to linux-image-2.6.32-26-generic (2.6.32-26.49~ppa1~loms~lucid) I am experiencing the following problem :

Any time the PC's resuming from hibernation, it has the whole left part of the screen filled with black area that cover anything but the mouse cursor : unlock box, desktop, icons, toolbars, applications... this black area seems to cover 800x600 pixels.

I have never got the problem with the previous kernel linux-image-2.6.32-25-generic from Voria's PPA (2.6.32-25.46~ppa1~loms~lucid).

Any idea ?

Thanks !
