NF310 fn key issues

Post by crowolf »

Hi guys

I'm at a loss here. I've installed Ubuntu 10.10 with samsung-tools, samsung-backlight and udev from voria. The shortcuts for backlight etc. work wonderfully. However, the keys for my numeric pad (fn+u = 4) still think my fn key is pressed in. So if I type u, it actually prints 4. Add insult to injury: I don't experience this problem on the login screen, only when I'm logged in.
Needless to say, typing is really cumbersome and I could use a fix.

More info: the keyboard layout is AZERTY (a Belgian layout), the exact type is NF310-A03

Thanks a bunch!

So, I found the problem (this is going to sound so lame): my num lock was turned on, so Fn+F11 fixed it... Here's to the noobs in this world!
