Hi i'm running ubuntu 9.04 on my nc10 which has 2gb of ram.. Its a fresh install but I have noticed that firefox is running very slow. Page scrolling is very juddery. I have also noticed that the little drop down that asks if you want to save your password etc is again very juddery when dropping down. Does anyone have any idea's how I can solve this!? :shy:
Was wondering do I need to change anything in the xorg? To make the system run smoother?!

Nope can happen on any websites.. Be it bbc, forums, google etc etc. I dont think it is graphic releated now.. Think firefox is unhappy about something. the graphics drivers are slow... it's better to stick with 8.04 or 8.10 if you're searching speed.

I think they will not be sorted in jaunty, because the problem seems to be related to kernel too. And to get a newer kernel version we have to wait for ubuntu 9.10 karmic koala.
